QUEEN BARNUM, 61

LAKELAND -- Ms. Queen Barnum of Lakeland died of a stroke
Wednesday (July 2, 2003) at Lakeland Regional Medical
Center. She was 61.
Born in Preston, Ga., she came here from Weston, Ga., in
1960. She was a dragline operator for Mobil Chemicals'
Nichols plant, and she was a cosmetologist. She was a
mother of the church at Mission of Hope Ministries and
former choir member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church for
37 years.
Ms. Barnum is survived by her sons, Apostle Roosevelt
"Ted" Barnum, Lakeland, Sammie Lee Barnum and
Rickey Lavelle Barnum; mother, Susie Henry; sister, Lola
Roger; brothers, Moses Henry Jr., John Wayne Henry;
sisters, Annie Kilgore, Linda Henry; 23 grandchildren;
and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Birth Deliverance
Ministries.
