LAKELAND -- Mrs. Ola Mae "The Greens Lady"
Williams of Lakeland died of cancer Thursday (March 10,
2005) in Lakeland. She was 74.
She was born in Haines City. She was a cook. She was a
former employee at Royster Mines. She was a member of
Greater Refuge Church of Our Lord, where she was a
president, member of the Mother's Board, Senior
Missionary, Ministers and Deacons Wives Guild, Women's
Council, Evangelistic Team, Choir No. 2, Busy Bee, Deacon
Board No. 4, and Refuge Diner.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Minister Eddie
Marcus Williams; daughters, Mae C. Allen, Cleveland, and
Sandra Johnson Palmer and Teresa Williams, both of
Lakeland; sons, Joseph T. Cason, Fresno, Calif., and
Ronnie Gene Williams, Lakeland; sisters, Ruby Grim,
Titusville, Cherry Wilson, Lakeland, and Betty Grim,
Wildwood; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Greater
Refuge Church of Our Lord. Services will be at noon
Friday at the church. Burial will be in Laurel Hill
Cemetery.
