LAKELAND -- Mrs. Tangynatia "Tangy" Willis of Lakeland died of heart failure Tuesday (March 2, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 41.

Born in Brooksville, she came to Lakeland at a young age. She was a cook. She was a member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church and sang in the choir.

Mrs. Willis is survived by her daughters, Daiquiri Willis, Whitney Hall, both of Lakeland; mother, Erma Willis, Lakeland; brothers, Jerome Willis, New York, Marlon Willis, Lakeland; sister, Beverly Willis, Lakeland; one grandchild.

Services were at Mount Sinai Baptist Church.
