Wastewater Operator
CLERMONT -- Mr. Rubin Lee Collins, Jr. of Clermont died
of heart failure April 24, 2003 in Clermont. He was 47
years of age.
He was a lifelong area resident. He worked for the city
of Lakeland as a wastewater operator. He was an active
member of Emanuel Temple Church of Our Lord.
Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Dorothy Collins;
sons, Rubin Collins III and Brian Collins, both of
Clermont; daughter, Kayamia Collins, Clermont; mother,
Mary Ann Collins, Eaton Park; sisters, Sharon Green and
Barbara Collins, both of Lakeland; brother, Marvin
Collins, Lakeland; and two grandchildren.
Services at Greater Refuge Church of Our Lord.
Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
