LAKELAND -- Mr. Ronald "Ron Hill" Gibson of
Lakeland died Jan. 8, 2004, in Miami. The cause of death
is pending autopsy results. He was 48.
Born in Augusta, Ga., he came to Lakeland from Georgia,
10 years ago. He was a paralegal. He was a Muslim and a
member of the Nation of Islam.
Mr. Gibson is survived by his son, Ishmar Gibson,
Charleston, S.C.; sister, Carol Lawrence, Clarkston, Ga.;
and companion, Wanda Kay Henderson, Lakeland.
Services were at Coney Funeral Home.
