LAKELAND -- Mrs. Josephine Johnson of Lakeland died of heart disease Thursday (Aug. 10, 2006). She was 84.

Born in Quincy, Mrs. Johnson moved to Lakeland from Fort Lauderdale 55 years ago. She worked in environmental services for Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She attended First Baptist Church, where she was a member of choir No. 2 and Deaconess Board.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, James Johnson; daughter, Patricia Nelom, Lakeland; sons, Jeffery Moore, Lakeland, James Moore, Riveria Beach; and two grandchildren.
