LAKELAND -- Mrs. Ruth Robinson of Lakeland died of a bloodstream infection Friday (March 11, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 85.

She was born in Lakeland. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Greater Refuge Church of Our Lord, where she was a member of the Mother's Board and the Senior Missionary.

Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Robinson. She is survived by her sons, Rudy Robinson and Bobbie Robinson, both of Lakeland, Frederick Robinson, Avon Park, Leonard Forbes Robinson, Winter Haven, and James Lewis Robinson, Plant City; daughter, Cheryl Robinson, Atlanta; eight grandchildren; caretaker and niece, Valda Washington, Lakeland.

Services were at Greater Refuge Church of Our Lord.
