LAKELAND -- Mr. Darrell Renard Silas of Lakeland died of respiratory failure Tuesday (Aug. 26, 2003) at Florida Hospital, Kissimmee. He was 36.

Mr. Silas was born in Lakeland. He was a telemarketer for Cybernet. He was a member of Pillar and Ground of Truth Church of God in Christ.

Mr. Silas is survived by his goddaughter, La Porche Dixon; sisters, Eula Green and Lucille Hudson, both of Lakeland; brother, Luther Galliday, Lakeland; and stepbrother, Ray Robinson, Lakeland.

Services were at Coney Funeral Home.
